On the 31st of July 2010 Vicky was the main artist and performed 'Afrikan Dream' at the Ms. Namibia Pageant that was held in Windhoek, Namibia.
On June 16th, the day on which South Africa commemorates the youth uprisings of 1976 and that is officially known as Youth Day, Vicky performed at Bishop Lavis High School on the Cape Flats as part of her outreach to young people to encourage them to stay away from drugs and gangsterism. Vicky performed 'Afrikan Dream' and 'One Tribe' as part of the opening ceremony of the Cape Town 2010 Street Party on Thursday 10 June. On 22 May, Vicky performed at the Nedbank Cup Final - an occasion that also marked the official opening of Soccer City, South Africa's premier football stadium, where both the opening and final matches of the 2010 World Cup will be played. |
